dc.description.abstractEsta investigación fue llevada a cabo en la Corporación Universitaria del Caribe – CECAR, específicamente con un grupo de 22 estudiantes de la Licenciatura en educación Básica con énfasis en Lengua Castellana e Inglés. Un proyecto de Investigacion-Accion fue diseñado para determinar si la implementación de las estrategias de lectura del modelo de Enseñanza Recíproca (Palincsar and Brown 1984) podrían mejorar la comprensión de lectura y a la vez promover actitudes de aprendizaje auto-dirigido en los estudiantes de noveno semestre del programa de esta licenciatura. Pre y Post Cuestionarios aplicados a los estudiantes, Pre y Post exámenes de comprensión de lectura, así como los diarios de los estudiantes y un diario del profesor fueron usados como métodos de recolección de la información en este estudio. Los resultados arrojaron una mejora significativa con relación a las actitudes de aprendizaje autodirigido de los estudiantes, así como una mejora leve pero significativa en su nivel de comprensión lectora.es_CO
