dc.description.abstract | La fabricación, uso y disponibilidad de explosivos causa problemas sociales y ambientales, por sus características recalcitrantes, mutagénicos y carcinogénicos. En Colombia, la industria militar ha incentivado la búsqueda de estrategias ambientalmente amigables que permitan la degradación de explosivos biológicamente hablando. Es así, como el objetivo principal de la investigación fue establecer si aislamientos bacterianos obtenidos de sitios con presencia de explosivos pueden degradar TNT in vitro, para luego determinar valores de pH y temperatura en las cuales se mejora dicha capacidad. Como resultado se aislaron dos cepas concapacidad de degradar el 100% de TNT y con capacidad de crecimiento hasta en 500 mg/L de explosivo. Se estableció pH 8,0 y 35ºC como las mejores condiciones para la degradación.
