2023Resumo
The knowledge and skills of professionals must modify the current paradigms to solve social problems and improve the standard of living, due to this, universities and technological institutes have the challenge of guiding their students to not only develop knowledge skills but also also innovation skills that allow them to be more competitive. The objective of the article is to identify the innovation skills in students of technological education. The methodological design proposed for the development of the research has a qualitative - quantitative approach, of the type of exploratory research. To identify the profile of the students, a validated survey called “Emprendómetro” was applied, which identifies 4 profiles: maker, supplier, generator and leader. The survey was applied to 6,700 technical students in Ecuador. In conclusion, it was identified that the predominant profile is the maker, which is consistent with the level of training they are in, so the great challenge is to identify the profiles so that they can collaboratively identify the potential they have when working. together to solve challenges. © 2023, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao.
