dc.description.abstractEs fundamental fomentar el desarrollo de habilidades emocionales en los niños porque facilitan la solución de problemas, el ajuste social, mejora la actitud frente al aprendizaje, mejora el desempeño académico de los niños y, sobre todo, les permite tener un mejor manejo de las emociones, buscando que los niños logren adaptarse de mejor manera en el contexto. A partir de esto, se decide trabajar en las siguientes habilidades emocionales: reconocimiento emocional, expresión emocional, regulación emocional y empatía. El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar los elementos constitutivos más relevantes para trabajar el desarrollo de habilidades emocionales desde procesos formales en un centro de educación inicial en Chía. Parte de esto, llevó a la construcción de un programa que buscaba fomentar el desarrollo de habilidades emocionales en niños de un jardín en Chía el cual estaba dividido entre sesiones para niños y para profesores, las cuales implicaban actividades dinámicas, utilizando dibujos, actuación, lectura de cuentos, entre otros. En cuanto al diseño de investigación se utilizó la investigación acción participativa y para analizar la información, el análisis temático de redes. A partir de la investigación y el programa, se encontraron prácticas pedagógicas y conocimientos de los profesores que se utilizan para trabajar las habilidades emocionales, el rol del profesor, y aspectos que se requieren para fomentar este tipo de programas que desarrollan habilidades emocionales. Igualmente, se evidenciaron formas en las que los niños expresan estas habilidades emocionales y elementos que se deben trabajar para fomentar el desarrollo de estas habilidades.es_CO
