dc.description.abstractSe analizó la influencia de la cafeína (150 mg/kg) en el aprendizaje espacial (adquisición y retención) determinado en la latencia de salida, velocidad, aciertos, regresos, errores y excretas. Se moldeo un aprendizaje espacial en un laberinto múltiple, posteriormente se aleatorizaron 10 machos y 10 hembras para el grupo control y para el experimental. Durante ocho días consecutivos se administró cafeína (s.c.) y se observo la retención de este aprendizaje ; posteriormente se moldeo otra secuencia espacial y se evaluó su retención. Los datos se examinaron mediante Anova, Manova y prueba t de student (p. 0.05). La cafeína (150 mg/kg) fortalece la adquisición y la retención del aprendizaje en las hembras ; con débiles efectos positivos en la retención de los machoses_CO
