dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio describe los estilos de liderazgo, las estrategias de retención de talento y los niveles de involucramiento laboral en una muestra de 54 hoteles de las doce capitales de provincia del departamento de Boyacá. A través de un amplio trabajo de campo en el que participaron 38 líderes y 63 colaboradores, se aplicaron dos instrumentos MLQ-5X y Escala de Involucramiento Laboral y se entrevistaron a los líderes de cada hotel para conocer el grado de implementación de estrategias de retención. Los resultados muestran que tanto en las respuestas de jefes y colaboradores predomina el estilo de liderazgo transformacional, que sólo la mitad de los líderes entrevistados refieren el haber implementado estrategias de retención como una forma de asegurar el talento y que los niveles de involucramiento laboral de los encuestados se encuentran en niveles medios y altos. El estudio permite amplia el conocimiento del sector, profundiza por primera vez las variables de estudio en esta región y abre nuevas líneas de investigación tendientes al desarrollo de una fuerza laboral comprometida con el éxito del turismo en Boyacá. | es_CO |
