dc.description.abstractLa gestión de la cadena de suministro verde surge como un enfoque importante para las empresas, que implica la aplicación de los principios de gestión ambiental para la cadena de suministro y que muestra una nueva forma de abordar el reto de la sostenibilidad. Se plantea resolver la pregunta de investigación: ¿De qué forma se puede cuantificar el impacto de la dimensión ambiental en el diseño y gestión de la cadena de suministro?, al tomar un caso de estudio de una empresa manufacturera de neumáticos ubicada en el sur de La India. Se analiza un modelo matemático para una cadena de suministro inversa de distribución multi-eslabón e inventario, que minimiza el costo total mediante el uso de algoritmos genéticos.es_CO
