dc.description.abstractEl principal objetivo de este estudio es resumir el desarrollo histórico de la teoría de los valores humanos, los principales aportes hechos desde diversas áreas de las ciencias sociales, en particular desde la psicología, y los más destacados aportes hechos por diversos investigadores, especialmente por Shalom Schwartz, cuya teoría, por su cáracter dinámico, motivacional y universal ha logrado gran aceptación por parte de quienes estudian el tema de los valores, Además se pretende mostrar los avances teóricos y prácticos de esta teoría en el área del trabajo, desde el estudio de temas relacionados como el de la importancia y el significado del trabajo, hasta el desarrollo mismo de una teoría de los valores humanos propia de esta área específica.es_CO
