Due to the SARS-CoV2 virus pandemic, traditional teaching and learning methods in the medical field were forced to change, making way for educational strategies based on virtual platforms and technological support in non-conventional scenarios. An example of this is the morbidity and mortality conferences (M&M), which are influential face-to-face educational activities in most hospitals. This investigation aims to find the characteristics of virtual M&M conferences in different institutions focused on general surgery resident´s students in Colombia, and how medical residents and professors feel about them compared to the traditional face-to-face meetings.en
