dc.description.abstractEstudio observacional en el que se describe la recaida local de una cohorte de pacientes con cancer de seno tratadas en la clinica del country entre Enero de 1989 y Junio de 2013 con tres tipos de mastectomia. Se describe un total de 820 pacientes divididas en tres grupos, grupo 1 pacientes sometidas a mastectomia sin reconstruccion, grupo 2 mastectomia preservadora de piel y complejo areola pezon, grupo 3 mastectomia con presevacion de piel sin preservacion del complejo areola pezon, se describen las caracteristicas demograficas de cada grupo y algunas caracteristicas del tumor. Se observa una recaida de 7.32 - 5.66 y 7.69% respectivamente en cada uno de los grupos lo cual es equiparable a lo descrito en la literatura mundial.es_CO
