Man, as a living being, has limits that mostly derive from his material and corporal dimension; By virtue of his immaterial dimension, he creates others that complicate his personal and social existence. These limits have been increasing with the advance of postmodernity and it could be stated that they increasingly constrain a fundamental task for human beings: the construction of their happiness.Man, as a living being, has limits that mostly derive from his material and corporal dimension; By virtue of his immaterial dimension, he creates others that complicate his personal and social existence. These limits have been increasing with the advance of postmodernity and it could be stated that they increasingly constrain a fundamental task for human beings: the construction of their happiness. El hombre, como ser vivo, tiene unos límites que en su mayor parte derivan de su dimensión ma terial y corporal; en virtud de su dimensión inma terial, él mismo se crea otros que le complican su existencia personal y social. Esos límites se han venido incrementando con el avance de la posmodernidad y podría afi rmarse que constriñen cada vez más una tarea fundamental para el ser humano: la construcción de su felicidad.
