| es_CO |
dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to "characterize the trajectories in the development of children between
14 and 26 months old in the interaction with the researcher and a children's book". For this, a
microgenetic analysis of the interaction between a researcher, a child and a book object is
carried out. Theoretically, it works from a sociocultural perspective of development
(Valsiner, 2004; Branco, 2012; Rogoff et al., 2011; Cubero, and Santamaría, 1992; Bruner,
1995) and from the pragmatics of the object (Rodríguez, 1996). The methodological approach
is defined from a qualitative, microgenetic and idiographic approach (Barrios et al., 2012;
Branco & Valsiner, 1997; Salvatore et al., 2012). The categories designed for the analysis
were: Emotions, Gestures, Uses of the book, Language-vocalizations and Attention. The
results show the emergence of the categories in the framework of the interactions between the researcher, the child and the object, which does not obey a linear or progressive logic, but
rather accounts for the dynamic characteristics of human development. The importance of
gestures, not only as semiotic mediators to communicate interests, desires and tastes about
the book, but also promote the canonical use of the book. It shows how, throughout the
research sessions, the microgenetic development of the participating children is transformed.
The importance of establishing communication frameworks that promote reading as an
educational practice from the first months of life is highlighted. Finally, contributions are
raised to the Pedagogical and Curricular Guidelines for Initial Education in the District. | en |
