dc.description.abstractEl empoderamiento fue mencionado por primera vez en 1981 por el autor Julian Rappaport, su desarrollo conceptual ha recibido aportes de autores de diferentes áreas del conocimiento. Es parte de las estrategias de promoción de la salud, mediando la redistribución del poder, mitigando desigualdades sociales y mejorando la salud individual y comunitaria. Objetivo: Explorar y clasificar la evidencia sobre metodologías para medición de empoderamiento como estrategia de promoción de la salud en población pobre o en condición de vulnerabilidad a través de una Revisión Sistemática Exploratoria. Metolodología: Revisión Sistemática Exploratoria a través de las bases de datos: MEDLINE, EMBASE, BVS, ERIC, APA PsycNET, Social Science Database (ProQuest) y EBSCO. Por medio de tesauros, se construyó una ecuación de búsqueda para recuperar evidencia y fuentes de información elementales procurando incluir los diferentes constructos, para su posterior selección, clasificación y análisis. Se complementa con búsqueda manual de literatura gris, fuentes oficiales y autores más relevantes en el tema.es_CO
