The sample consisted of 81 workers of different positions within the organization. Statistical analyzes were developed using techniques based on the variance of structural equation models. According to the indirect effect of the intensification on the recovery levels from work stress through perceived work overload, it was found that there is a mediating effect of overload as a higher order factor, confirming the hypotheses and generating empirical evidence for understand the importance of generating organizational actions aimed at promoting practices that favor recovery from stress in demanding contexts in which individuals have a high perception of work overload and are aimed at promoting the well-being and integral development of individuals within organizations.eng
