dc.description.abstract | La discriminación en el medio laboral ha sido muy estudiada en los diversos países, existiendo leyes en la mayoría de ellos que protegen a los trabajadores, sin embargo ha sido en gran medida enfocada a temas como salario, posibilidades de empleo y condiciones generales en el puesto de trabajo. En cuanto a las desigualdades en determinados colectivos, estas investigaciones han sido dirigidas a características personales como sexo, raza, edad, origen, etnia, religión y orientación sexual en el ámbito laboral, pero poco se ha indagado sobre la discriminación en los procesos de selección en las empresas. Por esta razón, esta investigación de tipo exploratorio descriptivo, tiene como objetivo analizar los factores decisorios en los procesos de selección de personal. Para ello, se llevan a cabo encuestas a 41 líderes de recursos humanos de empresas en Colombia con diversas actividades económicas y que tuvieran sede o presencia en otros países. Se realiza una revisión conceptual de las investigaciones relacionadas con la discriminación en procesos de selección y de vinculación al medio laboral, haciendo comparaciones internacionales con los resultados en Colombia. | es_CO |
