dc.description.abstractIntroducción: La infección genital por el virus del papiloma humano (VPH) está implicado en la etiología del cáncer de cuello uterino, vulva, ano y vagina. La asociación de neoplasia intracervical (NIC) y lesión intraepitelial anal (NIA) está soportada en publicaciones a nivel mundial. En Colombia no existe información al respecto. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal en mujeres con diagnostico histopatológico de lesión intraepitelial de alto grado en dos instituciones de salud de Bogotá. Se recolectaron datos sociodemográficos, de comportamiento sexual y antecedentes patológicos. Se tomó muestra anal para citología y detección de ADN de VPH y se realizó anoscopia de alta resolución para identificar displasia anal.es_CO
