dc.description.abstract | Las Actinobacterias son bacterias Gram positivas, filamentosas, de los 22500 compuestos bioactivos producidos por microbios el 45% son de Actinobacterias. Muchos de estos compuestos se han usado para el tratamiento de algunas enfermedades, como agentes antiinflamatorios, antituberculosos, antioxidantes y antineoplásicos, tales como: daunorrubicina, dactinomicina y mitomicina. El propósito del presente estudio fue evaluar la actividad citotóxica de extractos de Actinobacterias de los sedimentos de la ribera del río Guaviare 2°36'19.2"N 72°42'26.2"W (Colombia), para lo cual se escogieron 25 aislados que presentaron previa actividad antiquórum sensing (C. violaceum ATCC® 31532), antibacterial (E. coli ATCC® 23724, S. aureus ATCC® 25923, A. baumannii ATCC® 19606 y B. subtilis ATCC® 21556) y/o antifúngica (T. harzianum ATCC® 52443, Fusarium sp y C. gloeosporioides (aislados de desechos agrícolas). Los aislados fueron cultivados en ISP2 por siete días a 30ºC y 200 rpm y sometidas a procesos de extracción con acetato de etilo. Los extractos fueron preparados en soluciones stock (1mg/mL) disolviéndolos en medio DMEM y posteriormente empleados en ensayos de citotoxicidad mediante la técnica de MTT. Las líneas celulares estudiadas fueron: PC3 ATCC® CRL-7934 (cáncer de próstata), MDA ATCC® HTB-24 (cáncer de seno) y A549 ATCC® CCL-185 (cáncer de pulmón) y como control de línea no transformada se empleó la línea celular L-929 ATCC® CRL-6364 (fibroblastos de ratón). | es_CO |
