dc.description.abstract | La conducta de juego constituye un problema de salud pública. Existen estudios que argumentan que el problema se debe a la influencia genética, a la alteración en los circuitos de recompensa del cerebro, a un déficit en el control inhibitorio, y a la impulsividad, lo cual afecta el proceso de toma de decisiones. Las decisiones pueden ser de tres tipos: ignorantes, riesgosas o acertadas. Éste estudio pretende identificar si el tipo de decisiones que toman las personas predice la severidad del problema de juego. Se utilizó el juego de póker para identificar éstos tipos de decisiones y el South Oaks Gambling Scale para medir el nivel de problema de juego. Se realizó un estudio con 60 participantes y se encontró que las decisiones bajo certeza e ignorancia predicen el nivel de problema de juego. | es_CO |
