Reseña histórica del arte en la educación formal colombiana

Abstract

El artículo muestra la evolución histórica y jurídica del Área de Educación Estética y Artística en la educación formal colombiana, a partir del mandato del General Francisco de Paula Santander en 1832 hasta su inclusión definitiva en la Ley General de Educación, de 1994. Igualmente hace ver la importancia del Área en su inclusión como fundamental dentro del Currículo Colombiano, y hace una invitación al lector para proponer innovaciones metodológicas en su enseñanza.

The article shows the historical and legal evolution of the Field of Aesthetic and Artistic education in formal Colombian education. This is done beginning from General Francisco de Paula Santander's term of office in 1832, up to 1994 when aesthetic and artistic education was included in Ley General de Educación (Education General Law). In the same way, it emphasizes the importance of the inclusion of the Area as an essential field in the Colombian curriculum and invites readers to introduce methodological innovations in the teaching of this field.
