dc.description.abstract | Este estudio se realizó con universitarios de nivel elemental y pre - intermedio en dos universidades de Colombia. El objetivo fue promover las estrategias meta - cognitivas de análisis de tareas y los objetivos SMART para mejorar la comprensión lectora de los estudiantes y desarrollar su auto - eficacia. Esta investigación inició con un análisis de necesidades que mostró que los estudiantes necesitaban mejorar su comprensión lectora en inglés. Entonces, con base en la literatura y otros estudios, se consideró que el análisis de tareas y la fijación de objetivos podrían ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar sus habilidades lectoras y ser más auto - eficaces. Esta investigación acción combinó el uso de datos y análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo que ayudó a tener un a visión amplia de la información recogida. Siete intervenciones se hicieron para aprender cómo establecer objetivos SMART y hacer análisis de tareas para mejorar la comprensión lectora y la autoeficacia. Finalmente, los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes mejoraron su nivel de comprensión lectora haciendo análisis de tareas y establecimiento sus propios objetivos en tres tipos de lecturas (descriptiva, narrativa y argumentativa). Además, los estudiantes desarrollaron auto - eficacia y autonomía. Ellos comenzaron a tomar la iniciativa de leer independientemente y seleccionar sus propias lecturas como tarea. | es_CO |
