dc.description.abstract | En este estudio de serie de casos se describen los valores de la presión intracraneana hasta 24 horas después de cirugía en 21 pacientes con trauma craneoencefálico severo a quienes se realizó craniectomía descompresiva y fueron monitorizados en la unidad de cuidado intensivo. RESULTADOS: La prevalencia de pacientes con hipertensión intracraneana (PIC > 20 mmHg) posterior a la craniectomía fue del 23,8% (n = 5) calculada con base en el promedio de PIC. Sin embargo el 71.4 % de los pacientes (n = 15) en algún momento de la monitoria después de la craniectomía registraron picos de hipertensión intracraneana. CONCLUSIONES: Después de craniectomía descompresiva un grupo significativo de pacientes al final de las 24 horas presentan picos de hipertensión endocraneana. | es_CO |
