2018Abstract
Linear programming with fuzzy constraints is a well known approach to model uncertainty in optimization problems. However, in practical applications there is no certainty of implementing optimal solutions given by fuzzy optimization models, so in many cases the problem has to be solved using crisp available information. In this chapter, we provide a mathematical framework for comparing optimal to crisp solutions of a linear programming problem under fuzzy constraints. © Springer International Publishing AG 2018.
