2011Abstract
The innovative character has an ethical implication in the motivational quality of those who innovate, of what is innovated, and what innovation is for. The possession of intellectual, moral, technical and social habits shape an ethos, a stable way to act and behave according to principles or criteria, which must lead to achieve a fuller and more habitable life. Educational institutions according to their nature and purpose have a responsive capability to contribute to social reconfiguration, helping to enable freedom to choose what is valuable through the personal ethos.
