dc.description.abstractEn esta investigación se aborda la relación entre la intensificación del trabajo y el distanciamiento psicológico del trabajo teniendo en cuenta las demandas de extensión de la jornada y de expectativa de disponibilidad como componentes de la intensificación del trabajo. Se contó con una población de 271 trabajadores profesionales de una organización privada de salud en Colombia, quienes respondieron tres instrumentos utilizados en estudios previos. Se platean dos hipótesis de investigación: primero, las demandas de extensión de la jornada y de expectativa de disponibilidad reflejan la intensificación del trabajo; segundo, la intensificación del trabajo tiene una influencia negativa sobre el distanciamiento psicológico del trabajo. Los resultados obtenidos a través de análisis de regresión soportan las hipótesis. Los hallazgos de la investigación resaltan la importancia que las organizaciones y los directivos definan límites encaminados a minimizar las demandas analizadas, para así disminuir la percepción de intensificación del trabajo y facilitar el distanciamiento psicológico del trabajo.es_CO
