dc.description.abstractIntroducción La apnea obstructiva del sueño afecta 2 – 4% de la población pediátrica y se identifica la rinitis alérgica (RA) como un factor de riesgo para las alteraciones respiratorias del sueño. Sin embargo, no existen estudios que establezcan esa asociación en ciudades a gran altura. El objetivo es establecer si existe asociación entre la severidad de RA y síndrome de apnea hipopnea obstructiva del sueño (SAHOS) en niños entre 4 – 15 años de edad que se les realiza polisomnograma en Bogotá. Métodos Estudio observacional analítico, prospectivo de corte transversal realizado entre Julio 2018 – Enero 2019. Se incluyeron pacientes con RA, se aplicó el cuestionario ESPRINT-15 y clasificación ARIA para establecer la severidad de RA. La asociación entre RA y SAHOS se estudio mediante regresión logística binaria y el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.es_CO
