Abstract

The study of intellectual habit and the virtue of will has its origin in Classical Greece and its development in the Middle Ages. In Modere and Contemporary Philosophy, however, there has been an unfortunate impoverishment in its conception. This paper hopes to thematically revive and expand on the nature of the habit and the virtue of will.

L'étude de l' habitude intelectuelle et la vertu de la colonté provient de la Grèce classique et s' est développée au Moyen Age. Néanmoins, dans la philosophie modern et contemporaine sa coception a souffert un appauvrissement lamentable. L' écrit pésent aspire recupérer et approfondir le sens de la nature de l' habitude dt de la vertu.
