Arte y metafísica en el desarrollo del siglo XX

Abstract

El presente artículo reflexiona sobre la correspondencia y desarrollo que mantuvo el arte con la filosofía a lo largo del siglo XX. Para ello se analizaron tres momentos de este desarrollo: la búsqueda de la pureza en las artes, como el último movimiento moderno; la crítica de Nietzsche a la ontoteología y la exaltación de la creación por autores como Poe y Valéry, y la expresión del arte postmoderno y su correspondencia con las tesis de Foucault, Lyotard y Derrida. El artículo toma en cuenta las opiniones críticas de Maritain, Gilson y Kaerney en torno al desarrollo de las artes y la filosofía del siglo XX.

The present article meditates over the correspondence and development between art and philosophy through the XX century. Three moments of this development were considered to achieve this goal: the seek of purity in arts as the last modern movement, Nietzsche´s critique to the ontotheology, and the exaltation of creation by authors like Poe and Valery, and the expression of postmodern art and its correspondence with Foucault, Lyotard, and Derrida´s thought. This article considers the critic opinion of Maritain, Gilson and Kaerney, of the development of arts and philosophy of XX century.
