La guerra en Colombia en una perspectiva Histórica – Antropológica y Bioética

Abstract

The present war in Colombia is analyzed from a historical perspective. The combating efforts maintained against the State and society in the country by guerrillas and the illegal so-called self-defense ("autodefensa") groups, both allegedly supported by the drug-trafficking business, and by kidnapping, have become more and more unbearable particularly in the light of a policy based on anthropology and bioethics, due to the enormous human and environmental destruction problems they originate. The weakness and poor presence of the State in several regions in the country help nurture and worsen very serious sanitary, environmental, and human-rights crises.

Con una perspectiva histórica se analiza la actual guerra en Colombia. El esfuerzo de guerra que mantienen contra el Estado y el pueblo colombiano las guerrillas y las autodefensas ilegales, y que se sostiene con el ne­gocio del narcotráfico, al haber generado grandes problemas sanitarios, ambientales y de derechos humanos es insostenible, a la luz de una política fundada en la antropología y la bioética. La debilidad y la poca pre­sencia del Estado en muchas regiones del país favorecen las crisis sanitarias, ambientales y de derechos hu­manos.
