Cada día es más frecuente encontrar reportes de estudios que utilizan los trasplantes de tejido fetal en el tratamiento de algunas enfermedades de origen nervioso, hasta ahora incurables. Sin querer cuestionar las ventajas que aquellos representan en el avance científico el Doctor Serani quiere llamar la atención sobre el criterio utilizado para determinar la muerte en fetos entre 8 y 10 semanas, anotando el riesgo de practicar directamente sobre ellos una vivisección banalizando el carácter inviolable de vida humana.
