Teorías y modelos relacionados con calidad de vida en cáncer y enfermería

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es plantear la relación entre los modelos y las teorías que marcan conductas y acciones influyentes en forma general hacia conductas saludables, específicamente en personas con discapacidad por cáncer, mostrando herramientas que posibiliten mejor sobrevivencia. Se presentan las teorías de autocuidado, incertidumbre, estrés, afrontamiento de crisis y el modelo de creencias en salud. La intención de este trabajo es visualizar la relación de las teorías en la terapéutica del cáncer y la presencia de enfermería, con la perspectiva de mejorar la calidad de vida en estos pacientes.

The objective of the present work is to outline the relationship among the models and theories, which states general behaviors and influential actions, toward healthy behaviors, specifically in people with incapacity due to cancer, showing tools for a better survival. The following theories of self care are presented: Uncertainty, Stress, Confrontation, Crisis and the model of Beliefs in Health. The main idea in this work is to visualize the relationship of theories in cancer therapy and nursing presence, with a perspective of improving the quality of life in these patients.
