%X The results of the second phase of a project carried out from 2007 to 2009 with the involvement of students from the health area of University of La Sabana were presented. The objective was to identify the competencies acquired by medical and nursing students within ICT-based learning climate. The multiple-case study was the choice since it provides insight into the practices and relationships that occur in the learning climate. Regarding specific competencies, the results indicated that 27% of students exceeded the expected levels, 60.5% achieved the expected levels and the remaining 12.5% reached the minimal level. In the generic competencies, 27.7% of students exceeded the expected levels, 64.2% achieved the expected level and the remaining 8.1% reached minimum levels. The strategy encourages the students to play a leading role in their learning and the professor to become a catalyzing agent for this process.
%X Se presentan los resultados de la segunda fase de un proyecto realizado entre el 2007 y 2009 con estudiantes del área de la salud de la Universidad de La Sabana, cuyo objetivo fue identificar las competencias que alcanzan los estudiantes de Enfermería y Medicina en un ambiente de aprendizaje mediado por TIC. Se recurrió al estudio múltiple de casos, ya que este permite comprender las prácticas y relaciones que se dan en un ambiente de aprendizaje. Los resultados sugieren, en cuanto a las competencias específicas, que el 27 % de los estudiantes superaron los niveles esperados, el 60,5 % alcanzó los niveles esperados y el 12,5 % restante, los niveles mínimos. En las competencias genéricas, el 27,7 % de los estudiantes superaron los niveles esperados, el 64,2 % alcanzó los niveles esperados y el 8,1 % restante los niveles mínimos. La estrategia estimula a los estudiantes a tener un rol protagónico en su aprendizaje y al docente a ser un catalizador de este proceso.
