abstract = {La presente investigación muestra las diferentes formas de vinculación de las redes sociales de apoyo que tienen las personas adultas mayores, y los apoyos que reciben sean los mismos de orden material, instrumental, cognitivo o emocional. El desarrollo de la investigación fue de orden cualitativo, con diseño fenomenológico, relacionando tanto a los adultos mayores, como a las personas miembros de la red de apoyo. La técnica de recolección de datos utilizada fue la entrevista semiestructurada la cual buscó acercar al investigador a las condiciones sociales y culturales donde conviven las personas adultas mayores, todas ellas en un rango de edad entre 60 y 90 años, pertenecientes a los estratos uno y dos en las ciudades de Bogotá y Medellín. Los resultados permitieron identificar la relación emocional que se da directamente con la familia, especialmente con los hijos/as quienes representan para ellos compañía, comprensión y amistad, al igual que apoyo material facilitan el recurso humano y económico posible para suplir las necesidades básicas del adulto mayor. La investigación también logra destacar las barreras laborales, la falta de acceso a la mesada pensional y los diferentes obstáculos a los que se enfrentan para acceder a los programas del adulto mayor gestionados por el Gobierno Nacional.},
abstract = {The present research shows the different forms of linking the social support networks that older 
adults have, and the supports they receive in a material, instrumental, cognitive or emotional 
order. The development of the research was qualitative, with a phenomenological design, 
relating both the elderly and the members of the support network. The data collection technique 
used was the semi-structured interview which sought to bring the researcher closer to the social 
and cultural conditions where older adults live, all of them in an age range between 60 and 90 
years, belonging to strata one and two. in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín. The results allowed 
to identify the emotional relationship that occurs directly with the family, especially with the 
children who represent for them company, understanding and friendship, as well as material 
support, they facilitate the human and economic resource possible to meet the basic needs of the 
elderly. The research also manages to highlight the labor barriers, the lack of access to the 
pension allowance and the different obstacles they face in accessing the programs for the elderly
managed by the National Government.},
