abstract = {This paper presents an investigation about how narratives of narco soap operas have
influenced young populations; As a research center, the city of Pereira was chosen. This city was
chosen, since in its history it was related to drug trafficking due to its geographical location and
the narrative of the soap opera narco written by Gustavo Bolívar (Sin senos no hay paraíso and its
continuations), and years later it remains a point of discrimination for his past.
On the other hand, a project was applied to a Foundation of the city to determine if our
research gave results from the same, to be able to support young people who need this support to
change the perspectives of narratives of narco soap operas and teach them that through art and new
narratives you can change the way you see and act in life.},
