%X Disability leads families to atypical situations, finding themselves in the need to overcome obstacles and difficulties for which they were not prepared. Therefore, throughout history, changes and beliefs have been generated at the social level, as mentioned by Cieri & Cuestas (2020) when they say that "from the 70's onwards, the Social Model arises with the aim of fighting to improve the quality of life of families and people with disabilities, ensuring accessibility to the physical and social environment. Accordingly, this research aims to respond to the general objective: "How do parents care for their children with disabilities? 
The qualitative approach is used since it is intended to approach the context of families whose members in the role of children, preferably minors, are in a condition of disability, opting for a real approach to the experiences, tasks and adaptation of families in their role as caregivers, through semi-structured interviews accompanied by the constructivist paradigm.
%X La discapacidad lleva a las familias a situaciones atípicas viéndose en la necesidad de superar obstáculos y dificultades para los que no se encontraban preparadas. Por eso, a través de la historia, se han generado cambios y creencias a nivel social, tal cual como lo menciona ​Cieri & Cuestas (2020)​ al decir qué a “partir de la década del ‘70 surge el Modelo Social con el objetivo de luchar por mejorar la calidad de vida de las familias y personas con discapacidad, asegurando la accesibilidad al medio físico y social. Acorde con ello, la presente investigación pretende responder al objetivo general ¿Cómo cuidan los padres a sus hijos en condición de discapacidad? 

Se acude al enfoque Cualitativo ya que se pretende realizar un acercamiento al contexto de las familias que de sus integrantes en rol de hijos y de preferencia menor de edad, se encuentre en condición de discapacidad, optando por una aproximación real a las experiencias, tareas y adaptación de las familias en su rol de cuidadores, por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas acompañado del paradigma constructivista.
