%X Throughout the times, the study and research of Colombian Spanish has been a preoccupation ofnational and international researchers in grammar, philology and linguistics, who have developedresearch on the evolution and the future of the language used in Colombia as a vehicle of interactionand communicative relation. For this reason, the objective of this article is to present to Colombiansand abroad the development and current state of the studies and research that has been developedon  language  in  Colombia.  In  the  same  way,  we  will  mention  the  authors  and  public  and  privateinstitutions  that  have  marked  the  stages  of  development  of  linguistic  research,  together  with  asuccinct analysis of the methods and contributions of this body of work.
%X Es bien conocido por todos que el estudio y la investigación del español colombiano ha sido, durante todos los tiempos, una de las más grandes preocupaciones de gramáticos, filólogos, lingüistas, investigadores nacionales e internacionales, quienes han producido pequeñas y grandes investigaciones sobre la evolución y el futuro de la lengua que usamos en nuestro país como vehículo de interacción y relación comunicativa. Por lo tanto, este artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar a propios y extraños el desarrollo y el estado actual de los estudios y las investigaciones que en Colombia se han hecho sobre la lengua. De igual manera, se mencionan, los autores y las instituciones públicas y privadas que se han ocupado de las etapas y momentos de su desarrollo, junto con un análisis sucinto sobre los métodos y los aportes de estos trabajos a la ciencia del lenguaje en Colombia.
