%X The purpose of this text is to make an initial outline_x000D_
in order to attempt a new reading of the notion of_x000D_
media in Marshall McLuhan’s thinking. The idea is to_x000D_
separate the notion of the classic readings immediately_x000D_
associated with the notion of “mass media” and start a_x000D_
new search that allows for a deeper and wider understanding of media within McLuhan´s work, closer to_x000D_
phenomenology, hermeneutics, and the philosophy_x000D_
of technology.
%X El propósito de este texto es trazar las líneas iniciales_x000D_
para intentar una relectura de la noción de medio en_x000D_
el pensamiento de Marshall McLuhan. Se trata de_x000D_
desvincular esta noción de las lecturas clásicas que lo_x000D_
asocian de manera inmediata y apresurada con la idea_x000D_
de medio de comunicación e iniciar una búsqueda un_x000D_
poco más exhaustiva dentro de la obra de McLuhan_x000D_
que permita comprender el medio en un sentido más_x000D_
amplio acercando la reflexión a la fenomenología, la_x000D_
hermenéutica y la filosofía de la tecnología.
