%X From the moment it was created, science has been losing the capacity that gave the initial meaning to its activity, such as knowing how to discover the essence of things. This is particularly important when it involves human beings. To return science to discovering the truth, which it is a natural vocation. Philosophical anthropology proposes to answer to two key questions: Who is man? and what is man? The answer to the first question, refers to the act of being and the second to essence of the man. In the first answer, one can describe several perfections of being known as personal radicals; in the second, it is possible to describe levels of having. A systematic approach to the reality of personal being denotes a characteristic unity that can lead to self-fulfillment, provided that human action is voluntary. Self-fulfillment implies a special brand of excellence that does not end with intelligence but aims for consequence.
%X La ciencia desde su creación ha venido perdiendo una capacidad que dio sentido inicial a su actividad: saber descubrir el ser de las cosas; tarea más importante cuando del ser del hombre se trataba. Para devolver a la ciencia su natural vocación de descubrir la verdad, la Antropología Filosófica propone respuestas a dos preguntas claves: ¿quién es el hombre?, y ¿qué es el hombre? La primera respuesta hace referencia a su acto de ser, la segunda a su esencia. Dentro de esa primera respuesta se pueden describir unas perfecciones del ser llamadas radicales personales; dentro de la segunda, se pueden describir los niveles del tener. Una aproximación sistémica a la realidad del ser personal denota su unidad característica, que conduce a la autorrealización siempre y cuando la acción humana sea libre. La autorrealización implica un tipo especial de excelencia que no se agota en la inteligencia sino que apunta a la trascendencia.
