%X This article is a product of the process of a qualitative research
project; it focuses on the analysis of the information
given by teachers about their theoretical knowledge
and their work experiences form the classroom involving
the methods in which they teach children how to read
and write and what they have learned during their first
teaching of basic literacy, and their work as educators.
Some questions are stated according to these findings
about the relationship between theory and daily practice
in teaching education.
%X Este artículo, producto de un proceso de una investigación
cualitativa, se centra en el análisis de las formas
en que las educadoras enseñan a leer y a escribir a los
niños y a las niñas, de los aprendizajes adquiridos en
ese proceso y su relación con los aprendizajes obtenidos
durante su formación inicial. Se destaca que la principal
fuente de aprendizaje sobre los procesos de enseñanza
es la práctica profesional. A partir de este hallazgo se
plantean algunas preguntas sobre la relación entre la
teoría, la práctica profesional y la formación docente.
