%X El actual clima intelectual y cultural post-metafísico nos obliga a preguntarnos si aún es viable algún tipo de metafísica a la luz de la cual sea posible examinar los graves problemas de nuestra sociedad, especialmente el del sinsentido y el de la violencia. Con este fin, hemos escogido la metafísica de Tomás de Aquino, tal como ha sido revitalizada por el filósofo canadiense Lawrence Dewan.
%X The current post-metaphysical intellectual and cultural climate obliges one to ask whether or 
not it still is possible to examine the serious problems in our society from a metaphysical perspective, parti-
cularly the senselessness and the violence. To approach both issues, the authors turned to the metaphysics of 
Thomas Aquinas, as revitalized by the Canadian philosopher   Lawrence Dewan.
