%X La situación caótica de la crítica actual hace imprescindible una reconsideración seria con el fin de dotarla nuevamente de criterios sólidos y libres de cargas ideológicas y circunstanciales. El artículo se divide en tres partes: “Dar al texto lo que es del texto” trata del respeto que la crítica debe a la mera textualidad de la obra; “Dar al crítico lo que es del crítico” se refiere a la exigencia de conceder al crítico un amplio margen de libertad interpretativa; la tercera parte se dedica a los trascendentales como criterio de enjuiciamiento de la obra de arte en general, y la literaria en particular, sin que se menosprecien las contribuciones instrumentales que aportan las numerosas escuelas y corrientes críticas.
%X Since there is a chaotic situation in criticism nowadays, it is imperative to look for a serious 
reconsideration in order to grant it with solid criteria, free from ideological or circumstantial charges. The article is divided in three parts: “Giving the text what belongs to the text” is about the respect that criticism has 
to show towards the textuality of a work. “Giving the critic what belongs to the critic” refers to the mandatory 
requirement of giving to critics a wide margin of interpretative independence. The third part is dedicated to 
trascendentals
  as  judgment  criteria  for  arts  in  general,  and  literature  in  particular,  without  underestimating  
instrumental contributions coming from so many criticism schools and styles.
