%X The article condenses a documented investiga-
tion  of  the  anthropological  conception  of  Carl 
Schmitt.  Discuss  whether  this  can  be  equated 
with the state of nature theory of Thomas Hobbes, explores the relevance of Christianity, specifically, their understanding of sin and danger, and outlines the background of his criticism of the anthropological liberalism and romanticism. 
Finally, it suggests that, beyond the pessimism 
or the state of nature as an explanatory category schmittiana’s political philosophy is characterized by realism, which is consistent with the scope 
that  the  author  wanted  to  give  his  theoretical 
construct.
%X El artículo condensa una indagación documentada, acerca de la concepción antropológica de Carl Schmitt. Discute si esta se puede equiparar con la teoría del estado de naturaleza de Thomas Hobbes, explora la relevancia de su concepción cristiana, específicamente su comprensión del 
pecado como peligrosidad y esboza el trasfondo 
antropológico  de  su  crítica  al  liberalismo  y  el 
romanticismo.  Finalmente,  sugiere  que,  más 
allá  del  pesimismo  o  del  estado  de  naturaleza como categorías explicativas, la filosofía política schmittiana se caracteriza por el realismo, lo cual está en consonancia con los alcances que el mismo autor quiso darle a su construcción teórica.
