This pictorial review highlights the essential elements that should be included in a radiology report to interpret cross-sectional imaging studies of splenic lesions. To augment the diagnostic accuracy, we propose the implementation of a stepwise algorithmic approach. This approach offers a comprehensive analysis of splenic anomalies and lesions, providing an invaluable tool for radiologists and clinicians.
