This article presents the clinical case of a patient with multiple sclerosis of atypical presentation: dysarthria and expression aphasia without other accompanying symptoms, with a report of a nuclear magnetic resonance in which three supratentorial lesions are evidenced. History of several episodes of visual disturbances, with self-limited blurred vision and vertiginous pictures of short duration. Through this clinical case, the aim is to emphasize the importance of the Primary Care physician to detect early neurological alterations in young patients that lead to suspicion of Multiple Sclerosis and allow an early diagnosis of this disease; On the other hand, the publication of a case like this one with an atypical clinical presentation of Multiple Sclerosis is considered interesting, to contribute with its registration to the increase in knowledge of this disease and the casuistry of future related bibliographic searches. © 2021}, publisher = {Atencion Primaria Practica}, title = {Clinical case: atypical presentation of multiple sclerosis in a 42-year-old patient}, title = {Caso clínico: presentación atípica de esclerosis múltiple en una paciente de 42 años}, doi = {10.1016/j.appr.2021.100082}, author = {Moreno Gómez M.D.M. and García Romanos F.}, }
