A key issue to solve is to identify the best possible locations of intermodal terminals. This paper proposes a methodology to solve such a problem, taken the City of Bogota, Colombia as an exemplary case study. The approach is evaluated in terms of efficiency and efficacy, so, the benefits of the application are highlighted. Although a case study is presented in this paper, the methodology can be generalised to be applied elsewhere helping the decision-making process.
