abstract = {The present research contributes to rebuilding the historical memory of the Picacho district,  Borough  6,  Medellín,  through  concrete  actions  that  promote  the  participa-tion, integration, and reconstruction of the past in the voice and with the experiences of  its  inhabitants.  As  categories  of  this  research,  the  narratives  of  the  conflict  and  the  pedagogy  of  memory  are  essential  to  understanding  the  war  and  working  on  collective memory. It was necessary to resort to the socio-critical paradigm, the qua-litative  approach,  and  the  biographical-narrative  method  for  this  work’s  reflective,  participative, transformative, and critical interest. We found that the armed conflict in Picacho is due to social, economic, political, and cultural problems that appeared analogically  to  the  settlement,  causing  the  population  affected  by  the  violence  to  be  socially  organized,  work  for  the  district,  and  transform  its  reality.  Thus,  this  re-search concludes that the pedagogy of memory acts as a promising methodological approach  to  reconstructing  historical  memory  in  territories  such  as  Picacho,  where  there is fear of the past, ignorance of own history, and a lack of interest in rebuilding it. Still, we noticed the community’s participatory capacity in social projects to trans-form and improve the district.},
abstract = {La presente investigación aporta a la reconstrucción de la memoria histórica del barrio Picacho, comuna 6 de Medellín, mediante acciones concretas que promuevan la participación, integración y reconstrucción del pasado en la voz y con las experiencias propias de los habitantes del territorio. Como categorías de esta investigación, las narrativas del conflicto y la pedagogía de la memoria son esenciales para comprender el conflicto armado y trabajar la memoria colectiva, por lo cual fue necesario recurrir al paradigma sociocrítico, al enfoque cualitativo y al método biográfico-narrativo, por el interés reflexivo, participativo, transformador y crítico de este trabajo. En cuanto a los resultados, se encontró que el conflicto armado en el barrio Picacho se corresponde directamente con las problemáticas sociales, económicas, políticas y culturales que emergieron analógicamente al poblamiento del mismo territorio, las cuales llevaron a la población afectada por la violencia a que se organizara socialmente para trabajar por el barrio y transformar su realidad. Así, la realización de esta investigación concluye que la pedagogía de la memoria actúa como un enfoque metodológico propicio para reconstruir memoria histórica en territorios como el Picacho, donde existe miedo al pasado, desconocimiento de la historia propia y desinterés por reconstruirla, aunque también se evidencia la capacidad participativa de la comunidad en proyectos sociales encaminados a la transformación y mejoramiento del barrio.},
