abstract = {La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal identificar la asociación entre la religión y la religiosidad en torno la violencia de pareja en las zonas rurales de cinco países Latinoamericanos (Chile, Argentina, Colombia, México y Perú) este estudio se ha llevado a cabo teniendo en cuenta una revisión bibliográfica de diversas investigaciones enfocadas en el análisis de variables en torno a violencia y religión, a su vez los datos fueron obtenidos desde la Encuesta Mundial sobre Familia y Género (Global Family and Gender Survey: GFGS) como instrumento de recolección de información el cual logra conocer percepciones, actitudes, sentimientos y motivaciones de los participantes o grupo focalizado, arrojando insumos que dan apertura a un saber sobre lo estudiado. Cabe señalar que esta investigación ha girado en torno a un estudio cuantitativo el cual viabiliza el conocimiento a profundidad frente al grupo poblacional participante y las condiciones geográficas focalizadas; datos que son relevantes para identificar los resultados arrojados en este estudio que determinan que dentro de las variables analizadas hay elementos que son insuficientes para asociar el fenómeno de la violencia de pareja a la religión y la religiosidad en los contextos rurales.},
abstract = {The main objective of this research is to identify the association between religion and 
religiosity around intimate partner violence in rural areas of five Latin American countries (Chile, 
Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Peru). This study has been carried out taking into account 
counts a bibliographic review of various investigations focused on variables of analysis of 
violence and religion, in turn, the data was obtained from the Global Family and Gender Survey 
(GFGS) as an information collection instrument which achieves allows knowing the perceptions, 
attitudes, feelings and motivations of the participants or focused group, throwing inputs that open 
up knowledge about what was studied, in the same way, this research has turned around a 
quantitative study which enables in-depth knowledge against te to the participating population 
group, determining the age range that ranges between 18 and 50 years, religious affiliation, family 
union and education of the same; data that are relevant to identify the results obtained in this study 
that determine that within the variables analyzed there are elements that are insufficient to 
associate the phenomenon of intimate partner violence to religion and religiosity in rural contexts.},
