abstract = {Desde nuestra experiencia de enfermeras, observamos a los cuidadores de nuestros pacientes ingresados en una unidad de cuidado crítico, unidad de alta complejidad biomédica en la cual, el cuidador, viven una situación compleja y estresante generando un distanciamiento y afectando directamente el vínculo entre ambos. Nos dimos cuenta que los cuidadores de estos pacientes también precisan de nuestra atención para afrontar la problemática de un ser querido ingresado en una unidad de cuidado crítico. Revisamos artículos y bibliografía, hay amplia literatura que muestran y relatan como viven los cuidadores estas situaciones y como presentan necesidades y dificultades de adaptación y afrontamiento. En conclusión, identificamos que los cuidadores son también objeto de cuidado para enfermería como parte del tratamiento y recuperación del paciente ingresado en una unidad de cuidado crítico.},
abstract = {From our experience as nurses, we observe the caregivers of our patients admitted 
to a critical care unit, a highly complex biomedical unit in which the caregiver 
experiences a complex and stressful situation, generating a distance and directly 
affecting the link between the two.
 We realized that the caregivers of these patients also need our attention to face the 
problems of a loved one admitted to a critical care unit.
 We review articles and bibliography, there is ample literature that shows and relates 
how caregivers experience these situations and how they present needs and difficulties 
in adaptation and coping.
 In conclusion, we identify that caregivers are also the object of nursing care as part
