abstract = {This  research  aims  to  determine  the  attitudes  towards  science  and  research  of  uni-versity members in Bogotá, differentiated by demographic and role variables within the institution. The Attitudes towards Science Protocol and the Scale for Assessing At-titudes towards Research were administered to 524 participants, including students, lecturers, and managers of various universities. The results point to a favorable at-titude  towards  science  and  research  in  all  the  groups  of  participants;  however,  the  group with the least favorable attitude was the students. In the comparisons by sex, we  found  a  more  favorable  attitude  in  men.  When  comparing  by  programs,  there  were  better  attitudes  in  engineering,  social  sciences,  and  health  sciences  students  and  unfavorable  attitudes  in  communication  and  gastronomy  students.  Finally,  a  direct relationship was identified between age and attitudes towards science.},
abstract = {El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar las actitudes hacia la ciencia y hacia la investigación por parte de un grupo de miembros de instituciones universitarias de la ciudad de Bogotá, diferenciados por variables demográficas y de rol dentro de la institución. Se aplicó el Protocolo de Actitudes ante la Ciencia (PAC) y la Escala para la Evaluación de las Actitudes hacia la Investigación (EACIN) a 524 participantes, distribuidos en estudiantes, docentes y directivos de diferentes universidades. Los resultados indican una actitud favorable hacia la ciencia y la investigación por parte de todos los grupos de participantes, sin embargo, cabe mencionar que el grupo con menor actitud favorable fueron los estudiantes. En las comparaciones por sexo se halló una predisposición más favorable por parte de los hombres, y al comparar por áreas hubo mejores actitudes en estudiantes que pertenecen a ingenierías, ciencias sociales y ciencias de la salud, y actitudes desfavorables en estudiantes de comunicación y gastronomía. Finalmente se halló una relación directa entre la edad y las actitudes hacia la ciencia.},
