abstract = {El presente estudio de tipo cualitativo y diseño de estudio de caso aborda el análisis de las necesidades de los estudiantes frente al acompañamiento en la Especialización en Gestión para el Desarrollo Humano en la Organización (EGDHO) con el fin de contribuir al diseño de un modelo efectivo para la Asesoría Académica Personalizada para Posgrados (AAP). La mencionada especialización es uno de los programas de posgrado del Instituto Forum de la Universidad de La Sabana. Como unidad académica Forum ha venido adelantando esfuerzos para brindar esta orientación como medio de formación para algunos de sus estudiantes. Esta iniciativa se ha puesto en marcha con el propósito de alinear sus procesos académicos al enfoque de Educación Personalizada y sus principios, ya que esta es la apuesta de la Universidad, de allí que el presente estudio también se propusiera reconocer las expectativas que tienen las directivas de Forum y los líderes de procesos asociados a la AAP en la Universidad sobre los objetivos y el alcance que tiene esta estrategia de acompañamiento en el programa de posgrado participante en coherencia con el PEI de la Universidad de La Sabana.},
abstract = {This study, of qualitative and case study approach, addresses the analysis of the needs of students 
of the Gestión para el Desarrollo Humano en la Organización specialty program (EGDHO), with the 
objective of contributing to the design of an effective model for the Asesoría Académica Personalizada 
para Posgrados (AAP). EGDHO is part of the portfolio of programs from Instituto Forum from Universidad 
de La Sabana. As an academic entity, Forum has been doing important efforts and progress to provide this 
counseling as part of the formation program for some of its students. This initiative has been launched with 
the purpose of aligning internal processes to the Personal Education approach and its principles. 
Considering that this approach is the definite bet of the University, this study also intends to recognize the 
expectations of Forum Directives and process leaders associated with AAP about the objectives and reach 
of the strategy and its coherent alignment with the University PEI.
To gather the information contained in this study, various deep interview protocols were applied, 
and were responded by seven students of the program, two Forum directives, and two University process 
leaders related to AAP.
The AAP that has been done with EGDHO students, takes elements of the undergraduate AAP 
model implemented in the University, but with the distinction that the requirements for counseling for 
postgraduate students are different. Having in mind these differences this study becomes more relevant as 
it reveals that the needs of orientation for EGDHO program students are related to strengthening soft skills, 
management skills, finding work-life balance, time management, and studying habits.},
