Writing skills are crucial to children's socialization and interaction with their environment as they grow. The development of writing skills has been linked to a complex set of key factors, but is not yet clear enough. In the context of 21st-century education, and to increase understanding of this phenomenon, a systematic literature review of 40 years of published studies on the subject was carried out. The results revealed how relevant the integration of gross and fine motor skills is, along with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The development of writing skills in game-based learning environments and curricular articulation of physical education and ICT-mediated writing in early childhood education are also significant factors to consider.}, publisher = {International Electronic Journal of Elementary Education}, title = {ICT-Driven Writing and Motor Skills: A Review}, doi = {10.26822/iejee.2020562139}, author = {Patiño, John Fredy and Calixto, Andrés Leonardo and Chiappe, Andrés and Almenarez, Fanny Teresa}, }
